There will be a new snooker club in Dublin from mid May, it will be situated behind Bradys pub in Terenure, will have six tables upstairs with a casino downstairs.
One of the investors will be Ken Doherty who will run a snooker academy twinned with another club in Dublin possibly CrossGuns.

Great news for snooker players in Dublin!

Great news, especially in an area that doesn't really have a snooker club nearby to my knowledge (well other than The Spawell which is just up the N81 a bit).

    I wish them every success.

The only tables in the Terenure area would be in the CYMS, two tables there in the snooker room.

Brilliant news always good to have alternatives on the southside and fairplay to Ken for getting the kids involved again..the spawell and Bru crumlin were great for this but recent years not as many kids are playing the game in Dublin.

I expect the prices might be a bit high though??
