Why is online checkin not available

    My parents are taking an Aer Lingus flight to Portugal tomorrow. I tried to check in online. It's telling me that online checkin is not available for the flight and to checkin at the airport.
    Has anyone seen this in recent years, it just sounds strange :confused:

    We got an email at work to say that the Aer Lingus site is down for bookings, check-ins, etc. Hopefully it won't be too long down.

    The thing itself is up and ok, it was just that my mam double clicked the next button and it allowed her to skip options that you have to fill in and it said go to the airport when everything was filled out. Just poor site testing really
