    Just a quick post here,

I filled out the online form (RBN1) on core.ie, got the signature page and then sent it away. Got a letter back today saying the document was returned for the following reason -

'please provide a detailed description of your nature of business in a letter and submit'

I registered the business with the intention to be a printing business. What do I have to say in the letter then?

    Thanks

You just need to describe what the core focus of your business will be helping them differentiate it from other businesses in the market i.e. "crazy colours" could be an example of a new business name and it could be hair design, print design...etc CRO need to know nature of business to ensure that your name will be unique in your market sector.

You should be able to include the business details on the form. Admittedly I haven't filed one for a few months, but I *think* there is a space in the online filing system to include basic details of what the business is doing (or planning to do)
