Anyone with one of these might be able to help.

It wont go into rifle or bow mode only stays in regular mode.

If i hold the mode button for 5 sec as the manual says it just goes into yard or metre selection and doesnt let me choose rifle mode.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I had a Bushnell Range finder.
Just gave up the ghost one day.

    Is yours a sealed unit?

    Yeah its sealed.

Mine would get stuck on start up mode.

    I believe it's a poor design/design flaw.

Any item that can not be opened is a throw away item IMvHO.

    I have a Nikon now.
Stopped measuring over 25 yards recently.

I opened the screws and troubleshooted the circuitary
I found a loose component (I dropped it once) I pushed back into position and bobs yer uncle.

It sounds like the sensor of your mode button is fecked. I still have the old Bushnell at home somewhere, I went to several RFD's to no avail.

    So I bought a Nikon:cool:
