    Guys,
Figured this was a better place to post than the US forum in travel but mods please move if needs be.

Going over to NY for business in the next few weeks and arranging my own business class flights. What's the best option for comfort etc between Dublin and either Newark or JFK.

I've flown EI economy and it was better than Delta but I've heard that Business hasn't changed much since the days of Premier when it wasn't anything fantastic.

Is there much of a difference with CO or any of the other direct routes ?

    Thanks

Well you have two good options:

EI with the 2-2-2 angled flat seats in an A333 to JFK.
CO with the 2-2 fully flat seats in a B752 to EWR.

That trip report doesn't seem very neutral and is a bit out of date.
EI service has changed from Premier to Business in the last 2 years.(?) I did read one from about 4-5 months ago on A.net but can't find it in the search. The 2-3 I saw from last summer were very good. However anything I've read about CO is also very complimentary. (I don't think Delta or US rate in terms of service on the Ireland-USA market)
CO have very recently finished their cabin upgrade and now all their B757 have the fully flat seats (ie. Horizontal)
Can't see any recent J class B757 TRs for CO either.

I suppose the deciding factor should be do you want a twin aisle business class experience(with access to the newly opened EI lounge in T2) or a better seat in a single aisle aircraft. Both offer the CBP preclearance so that is nice.

EDIT: EI report from 18 months ago ORD-DUB
