I started on a contraceptive pill 3 months ago with the local family planning clinic and now I'm due a check-up and new prescription. I would prefer to go to my GP because they have a more detailed medical history for me so I would prefer to go there for all my medical stuff. Is it OK to just go there even though they didn't start me on it?

(I did go to my GP initially for the Pill but my GP was away and the temp GP sent me to the family planning clinic because she couldn't advise me, I think she was inexperienced in this area)

Yeah it's fine, just let the GP know your medical history/what meds you're on etc...
