"Kim Kardashian has revealed that she is planning a trip to Ireland
The 30-year-old is thought to be flying in to the country by private jet this summer for an episode of her reality TV show 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'.
Kim recently confirmed the trip on Twitter, "I absolutely love Ireland and I've always wanted to visit. I'm definitely coming over," she tweeted.
Show producers are keen for her to be given a real taste of the Irish lifestyle, according to a report in the Mirror.
"She's a global style queen so they like the idea of taking her out of California and giving her a taste of the Irish lifestyle," a source told the newspaper. "She'll be heading out to the country for a taste of the real Ireland. The show producers think it will make great TV."
The reality TV star, who is fame for her lavish lifestyle, will arrive in Ireland with a huge entourage of personal stylists, a camera crew, a personal assistant and her hairdresser.
"All the biggest night clubs in the city will be vying to get her to visit," the source added. "A party hosted by Kim Kardashian is like the ultimate showbiz seal of approval."
It is unclear whether the socialite's sisters Khloe and Kourtney, who also appear in the show, will be joining her on the trip."

There is just so much wrong with this.
She loves Ireland, but has never been here?
She wants a taste of real Ireland? Like what? Queueing up outside the local social welfare office?

I reckon we come up with a list of real Irish things for her to do.

Either that or turn her away at passport control.

There's nothing wrong with this. I grew up loving everything about America from what I'd seen in books and on TV. It's the power of advertising. I wasn't disappointed when I finally went over there. I still love it. If she says she loves Ireland, we should be grateful, more so because she's going to come here. Her show is watched by millions and can do only good things for our tourism industry.

Of course not, her show or the E Channel will be I presume.

They'll probably do the typical view Yanks have of us. All Irish dancing and leprechauns and Guinness.

Better than the reality though I guess!

Get her into Coppers on All Ireland weekend and see how long she likes Ireland for!!!

Ah no in all seriousness, this is a good news story...her show has a huge following in US and if she makes a show here it can only be a good thing!

Yeah i'm a bit meh about it myself to be honest. Still though it can't do any harm can it? She spends money like her life depends on it so the economy might actually improve a bit when her and her entourage come over ;-)
    only time will tell eh?

I cant wait for her to come visit here, the free publicity will be great and the Kardashians attract alot of attention and our tourist industry will hopefully be booming for a while again :)

Seriously? You genuinely believe Kim Kardashian coming here will cause a boom in the tourism industry?

    Jesus wept.

Millions watch the tv shows and if some of those millions come to Ireland on their holidays it would be a boost to our industry

    Hardly a boom, is it?

real ireland eh. so shell be herding sheep milking cows and going to a few GAA games too i suppose. stuff like this is so stupid - shes coming here for her own benefit to put money in her own pocket i doubt she gives a toss about ireland. a bit of a jaunt that only the empty headed people that watch her "show" will care about

People really think that just because she's coming to Ireland that people will think:" Oh well if Kim does it I have to go there".

Don't think she'll save the tourism economy by any means.

I'd love to give her a taste, or taste her if ya know what I mean

And its Ireland - a few teenagers will be gone mental screaming but everyone else will be the usual "yer one thinks she's amazing...lets ignore her"
Ireland is proper known for not bothering celebs much...

Or just better to ignore her; which is what should be done with talentless, dignityless wastes of space.

As far as I know, very few 50+ rich people watch the kardashians-I'd bet sweet fcuk all of their audience have enough disposable income to spend on a trip to Ireland just because yer wan said it was good.. Couldn't see it having any major effect on tourism whatsoever.
