Sky - rejoining/cold call

    I'm an old Sky customer (went to UPC over a year ago) and have been happy with their triple play package since.

    However I'm likely to be moving house shortly to an area where UPC don't cover.

    I got a call from a private number last evening claiming to be from Sky and offering 12 months at half price with no contract. It's just what I'll need coincidentally.

    Was this legit? I'm suspicious about scams. Is there any verification I can ask for?

    Not a scam. I'm an ex-Sky customer as well and they contacted me about 3 weeks ago with this offer. Phone number didn't show in the display either.

    Have you still got your old Sky equipment (dish, box & card)? The offer is aimed at people who would still have it in place.
