When and where are hunter trials in the west?

    Hi All,

    as a novice at hunter trialing, Would anyone know is there a calender of hunter trail events to be got? Like SJAI have a monthly bulletin? I am living in Sligo and am willing to travel up to 2 hours either side, but have no idea where to find out what is on and when?

    any help at all would be appreciated, thank you :p

    Sunday 3rd of April. North Galway Hunt Huntertrials are on in Castlelawns Stud Irishtown. Straight down the N17 to ballindine and turn Left for Irishtown. Straight through Irishtown until you see the Castle and turn left.

    Lovely Course. Fences really well built and ideal for a novice.

    PS I have no affiliation with either the Course or the Hunt.


    The Irishfield does print a list of HTs

    Some on in Killala on April 10th. Have friends who went last year and said it was brilliant. Shouldn't be more than an hours drive from you.
