    No way... I was chatting to a guy two nights ago who was flying to Yangon yesterday. Lucky it hit beside no large population centers though, I'd say Chiang Mai was the closest densely populated area.

    God, i hope it doesn't set off another big one.

    All we're hearin about is Earthquakes! poor people!

    Would this be considered an aftershock from the one in Japan? no.. maybe not cuz its a different plate?

    Yeah seemingly 244 houses, 14 buddist monasteries and nine government buildings were damaged. Over 60 people killed and over 100 people injured!
    The final damages from the earthquake is likely to be under $100 million according to the US Geological survey's population exposure data.
