    Ever get fed up of the monotonous clubbing scene in Galway. Ever wish there was a venue that offered a bit more variety than all the rest?
    I'm proud to announce the largest scale electro/progressive/dubstep event in Galway. . . . Electro Expression #2!

    Before the closure of CUBA* Galway saw international dj's such as Jack Beats, The Subs, The Bloody Beetroots and The Japanese Popstars sell out the events. Even with this obvious demand, Galway clubs have ignored the scene with not one club offering the same style of music played by local dj's.

    This has not only held back the development of the underground music scene in Galway but has also denied many of Galway's talented young dj's the opportunity to express themselves. Thus the creation of Electro Expression . . . .

    Electro Expression #1 was a massive success bringing 120 eager music lovers to Salthill mid-week. 120 attendees may not sound like allot but considering the size of the venue and the fact that Salthill is located well outside of Galways clubbing district, the night was considered a massive success by the owner of the venue.

    Electro Expression #2 promises to be even bigger and better, with a more central venue (Upstairs in Kelly's) and 200 confirmed guests on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=158419744214771

    Event organiser in Kelly's has already mentioned running the night on a monthly basis from September onwards which would be a massive breakthrough for Galway's clubbing scene and alternative crowd. Plans for the appearance of international dj's are already circulating once the night gets up and running.

    So, to all of Galway's music lovers, please support this night. I'm not biased to house music either. I would love nothing more than to see a variety of nights catering to different genres of music. A venue for each of Galway's sub-cultures - Reggae, RnB, Hip-Hop, Indie, Metal etc. etc. Not just a mish mash of what's top of the pops (which is gone to absolute rubbish recently). We all know that Galway's got a great vibe about the place once the sun goes down, now let’s follow it up with a bit of variety and quality to the music.
