    any thoughts on 03 fiesta petrols thinking of buying on for my daughter who has just passed her test

    Try and aim for a 2004 as they brought out the Zetec Steel model which came with alloy wheels, sunroof and other little things. Much nicer than the majority of 2003s which seem to be LX models. Avoid the old 1.3 litre engine ones too, these were sold along side the 1.25 litre upto the middle of 2003.

    My sister has a 08 1.25 litre Steel II now for nearly a year and it hasn't given a day's bother.
