I'm askin how old ur cylinder is because u can run into a few problems (just) replacing an immersion! I'm a plumber and it would cost about 100e for a plumber to remove an immersion, replace and rewire it

The best thing that can happen is ur immersion comes out first time without any problems! The worst thing is it doesn't come out handy you need to apply some heat and with that u mite get pin holes in the cylinder which you mite be able to solder over( not recommended) so unfortunately you will have to replace the cylinder! Sorry if I'm being a bit negative but just so ur aware of wat can happen and if it does happen u won't feel like a plumber is tryin to rip u off!

That's not actually bad, all things considered, can turn into a pain of a job.

You must not have changed many of them. If your lucky they just come out easily.

Like others have said. If goes easy fine. If not it may require changing the cylinder. So make sure it is the element. I maybe a switch or wiring problem.
