Nenagh Indoor Sensory Arena is a project of a new Irish Charity, ARC Eireann.

The charity has been set up by parents of children with autism spectrum disorders to support the child, the siblings, the parents and the extended family when it comes to understanding how autism effects the child and those around them.

The charity aims to be self funding through a range of recycling projects.www.arc-eireann.org ( up and running but a work in progress)

Nenagh Indoor Sensory Arena is an very ambitious project in that the charity has asked Nenagh UDC to give them a disused hall in Nenagh, to turn into Irelands first Indoor sensory Arena, where the primary focus is on treatment through play.

We intend to provide sensory drop in rooms, social rooms, and a range of activities designed to help each child take the next step

We intend to have parent to parent support services where parents can help each other learn what works, or just have a relaxing cup of coffee with a group that won't judge your child because they shout, roll on the floor, or kick the door.

As we are a charity that promotes inclusion we intend that Nenagh Indoor Sensory Arena be available to all children with special needs and their extended families.

We intend that the services on offer are available Free of charge.

An email offering your support for this idea would help us a lot.
