Just bought a water pump kit

Just bought a water pump kit from Lidl today.

Im using it for emptying and refilling a 500 litre fish tank every week-10 days.

Will also be handy for pumping water up to the attic tank,if we get another frozen winter like last winter.

The 4 meter long suction hose is seperate and is 9 euro,has a detachable filter head so that you dont suck up large objects or fish.

I got the Lidle submersable pump last month, great quality! God only knows how they can make them for the money. :eek:

I very nearly bought that pump myself (still a few of them left in Lidl today),but I dont think my fish would have liked a big lump of metal and plastic dropped into the tank onto their heads.lol.

Disapointed in you paddy - your usually the best bargain hunter on boards but you dropped the ball on this one - b&q had this pump last month for 15 euros , thread on it in bargain alerts , lots of boardsies got them including myself

Problem is I didnt need 1 last month.lol

I only need 1 now for this bloody fish tank.

I love a good bargin and I haggle alot too,I wish I could be everywhere at once,but what can I say??
