    Hello

Not a big PI but would like to get a handle on this.

I am in my late 20s and single.
There is a guy in my workplace that I fancy. I see him daily but I dont have any work dealings with him. In the coming weeks and months I will have some work exchanges with him.
I like him because he always smiles at me and often says hello. The problem is if I get closer than just passing on the corridor I become a quivering mess blushing and forgetting my train of thought. This has happened me recently on a training session with him and in the lift.

This is strange behaviour for me. It doesnt happen with anyone else or has never happened me in the past.
So I am starting to freak out about the eventuality that we will have to interact regarding work and I will freeze, shake, stutter and turn red.
I do think he might like me but I just get that from the friendly smile.

    Any advice or thoughts??

The more you think/worry about it the higher likelihood of it happening. Just take deep breaths, relax and remember that, no matter what, he is just a normal guy.

God, this reminds me of some years ago, there was a regular in the shop I worked in, and I mentioned to the girls one day after he left that he looked a bit like a certain (good looking) tv star of the day.

The others started slagging me off saying I fancied him etc so every time he came in and queued up, I started to go pink. By the time he got in front of me to pay for his paper etc I was puce.

I dont know exactly how I got out of going beetroot around him, I think the deep breaths and stopping the omygod************Imgoingred******** train of thinking helped.

Can I just caution you here though - I smile and say hello to nearly most of the people I work with - even if I don't know them...

He might just be like that too - friendly with no ulterior motives...
