    Hi all,

I damaged the front bumper on a 99 Nissan Micra. There are very similar cracks cracks either side of the licence plate and two smalls ones at the sides of the number plate all due to the impact. Where could I get this fixed? I have the NCT in a few weeks and need to get it sorted. Anywhere know anywhere cheap I could get it sorted so it's not that noticeable?

might be cheaper to get a secondhand one you could spray it with a few aerosol cans cheap fix for older car

Or more accurately, you'll get a second hand bumper which is covered in contaminants, spend 20-40 euro for aerosols, spray it with no knowledge, it'll look terrible, and then the paint will react, and it'll look worse.

If you are Northside I had some work done in Trimtech in Airside and can recommend them highly. www.trimtech.ie

I'd get a second hand bumper tbh, any subsequent impact will just crack the filler again.
Partfinder.ie should throw up a few bumpers in the right colour.

If you use filler, yes. If you reinforce the rear with fibreglass, and use a fibreglass filler, then no. It'll end up being harder than the original plastic.

Won't be doing a homemade job on it anyway...it would definitely be a recipe for disaster!!!

I'll look for black bumper...it's hard to get a black painted one...there's a lot of black without paint as they go on the other colours but not the black one.

Thanks for the help folks...much appreciated.
