2-3 week ipad2 ship time

As it's already March 25th in New Zealand, their online Apple store has started selling ipad2 and shipping time is 2-3 weeks.

It's still 3-4 in the states, so it's not too bad. I'm guessing they are manufacturing it to drive people to line up in front of stores for nice photos in the press.

Apparently Japan's troubles have had a big impact as some components come from there. As such there isn't the stock available. It probably shut down manufacturing for a week or so. Hence the delay. But also in that would be a trickle stream at first to up demand.
