    Hi all,

    Buying my mum I knew laptop, the only real purposes will be for skype with the family, internet browsing, email etc.

    She specifically wants one with a built in webcam. I have been looking for laptops with webcams greater than the 1.3mp standard that seems to be floating about, but I haven't found one yet.

    Anyway I have a lenovo and personally think its great, I am looking at one on BT shop a lenovo G560http://www.shop.bt.com/products/lenovo-g560-core-i3-380m-3gb-320gb-15-6-windows-7-home-premium-laptop-7CG1.html?refs=51340000-52330000-53730000-49340000-4294950487#imagegallery

    However it doesn't say what MP the webcam is and I searched but there are that many different models for the G560 I cant find it. Basically I would like to know if there are any laptops which would be good for the purposes stated and if the one I picked would have a decent webcam on it. In terms of budget I'd say around the £350 sterling mark would be grand, can slide either way on it a bit.

    Cheers,
    Baz

    Camera = 0.3 Megapixel.
    You could buy an external camera. But remember 0.3 isn't that bad for skype calls. It's not HD but people will look fine on it. Plus it wont use much bandwidth ;)

    Hi cookie,

    Do you think that laptop is good value for money then? Or would you recommend anything else?
