I have had several procedures in past fo ringrown toenail. Anyway on one foot the toenail appears dead or close to dead but still attached to nail bed and has nerves as when i tried to pull it off it hurts. Who do you go to for such things(removing dead toenails) , seems more like a technicans job than something a GP would do.

What kind of technician had you in mind?

You really need it done by either doctor or a podiatrist/chiropodist.
As for them being technicians well just consider the above well paid ones ;)
