k so i have an iphone4 and i have a question. obviously my phone has my entire itunes library on it, as well as a multitude of apps (both free and paid for). my question is this:

if i was to buy a new phone, is there any way i could continue to use my iphone for an ipod and to use my apps over wifi (al la itouch) or would i have to fork out for a touch to transfer all my stuff too?

    you could yeah

    or...

sell the iphone once you have a new phone, buy a touch, restore the apps and probably have extra cash left over?

if you take out the sim, it basically becomes an ipod touch. it'll still sync the same with itunes etc.

You will probably need a new sim from your network as the iPhone 4 takes a micro sim and most phones still take the bigger ones.

If you ever want to restore your phone you will need a micro sim to activate it again, but once its activated you won't need it after that. You can borrow a friends in this case

    optimistic!

i am waiting to see how much meteor are going to charge for the blackberry's on payg. that will probably be my deciding factor as to wether to switch now, or wait a year or two before switching my phone. i suppose though if the blackberry's are good competitive prices then selling my iphone is a nice option - any ideas what i could ask for it? 32gig by the way.
