    As the title says.

My transit connect has started to cut out whilst driving. The Glow Plug lght comes on and she dies. Turn off the ignition and restart and shes grand.

This only happens when under load, at low revs in 4th and 5th gears so far. Its a well document problem with Connects around 04-05. Have changed the feul filter - no joy. Looks like it maybe a Feul pump problem or injectors.

Fault code P0251 has come up through Torque and my HTC Desire.

Anyone here with similar issues? Any experinecs that would be useful to others to share?

    Thanks in advance.

I had this exact problem on a TDI Mondeo, had it diagnosed twice by Ford garage and best answer they could come up with was that it was something to do with a wiring loom related to the fuel pump. Was a fairly quick fix but if it goes again they said replacing the entire loom is recommended.

They couldnt tell me why it was happening, although speculated it might have something to do with four legged creatures messing around under the engine when parked near bushes or the like. You can use your imagination there....
