    Hi guys,

I just bought a Corolla off a chap, now the rear licence reads the proper reg but its in yellow, my question is do the gardai have a fit over this? And if so where is the best place to get it changed?

Yes, you cant have a yellow rear reg in the republic, any motor factors should be able to sort you out.

Any motor factors will do one up for you. Yellow plates not legal.

Check the boot, then, the seller must have had a white plate to get an NCT. Could be in with the spare.

Nope, boot is spotless. Ill just go to halfords, no problemo

You are better off getting 2 so they match if your getting one at all, 1 new and one old will look odd, some might even think it had been crashed :)

Also Halfrauds require you to bring the log book with you to get plates done.

yep definitely motor factors.... no point botherin with halfords for it.
motor factors down here in limerick will do a pair for 20-ish average, for standard, legal plates.

personally i think that yellow reg thing is stupid
