Married abroad , is marriage recognized in Ireland?

    Me and the missus are in Las Vegas for 2 weeks , going to go to chapel o love and tie the knot , is this type of marriage recognized in Ireland?

    yes, it's fully recognised, and you don't need any special permissions or documents in order to get married over there, just your passports/driving liscences and $60 to get your marriage liscence before the ceremony. at least 24 hours they suggest.

    after the wedding you can order a certified copy of your marriage certificate from clark county if you want. you can order it online and ours arrived within a few days. haven't needed it yet, but good to have.
