Yeah throw in a USB wifi adaptor for around €20 on top of that price. . I'm also worried about the .MKV playback on any WD media player. It seems to be a common fault.
But it does look a good deal :D

That's sterling, Joe. A lot more than an extra €7.50 ;)

    129.99 sterling = 150Euro

    129.95euro + 12.50euro = 142.45 Euro

    ??????????

I have that player (the WD) - it's absolutely fantastic. Plays the usual mkv files fine with not a problem.

This uses Sigma 8655, same chip that's in WDTV Live. So it should have good playback capability. But it's a mid-range chip, and a little old at this stage...

At €130 i'd consider it overpriced for this level of player.

And i'd be wondering what firmware support is like, do they keep it updated, fix bugs etc. That's about the most important thing in any media player.

Does that include Amazon shipping to Ireland? Actually, now that I think of it, I don't think they ship electronic goods to Ireland at all....

Got some electronic kit from Amazon last week - FREE Super Saver Delivery means it is the price you see on the site (if its over £25 in total I think) No issues at all with delivery or customs or anything

Cool. I didn't know that. Is that new, or did they always ship electronics here? I thought I got caught before where they wouldn't? Or do you just need to select that Super Saver delivery?

They will ship most electronics here but not all. Doesn't seem to be any pattern in what they will ship e.g. they will ship one brand of laptops but not another.
They will charge Irish VAT though at checkout, so price you pay will be slightly higher than displayed.
