    Hi All,

Posted in Gardening Section but not much response

I'm currently developing an idea that will target garden and outdoor space enthusiasts to enliven their outdoor area. It will cost approx 60 - 90euro and I guess you would call it a lifestyle product.

I would like to test the water a bit this summer by taking them to some markets or garden shows. Was looking for suggestions on where might be best to take them? Initially I would prefer not to be spending huge money on stall space as I don't have the capital, but if anyone can think of any fairs or markets around the country that might attract this type of audience (similar to blooms festival, too expensive to have a stall there though!)

    I'm based in Naas myself,

    Cheers.

You should try local farmers markets or even why don't you try your local garden centre? Also there is a big carboot sale place in Callan, Co. Kilkenny, they get huge crowds on a Sunday, might be wortha look anyway.

You just missed the hardware/diy/garden expo in Citywest last month but might be worth pencilling in for next year?

Garden section of Ideal homes exhibition in April.

about 25000 attend and stands are about €230 per sq metre. (though you can haggle)

Lots of agricultural shows around the country over the summer.

Ploughing championships? no idea of costs involved at that, but you'd be amazed at the clientele who go to these types of shows.
