EGR problem

Hi all, I've taken the EGR off the car (bmw 320d) and I cannot find where the small pipe which comes out of the side of the EGR goes. When I took the valve off the pipe came out with it, but I think the pipe must have been loose in the first place. Anyway, where does it go back on I cant see anywhere its supposed to fit,…

It probably goes onto a solenoid vacuum control type thing. Do you know were the vacuum pump is on it? Well follow it down and you'll get it.

That must be the vacuum line that actuated the EGR. Might be worth leaving that off unless NCT is coming up

If you go to bmw they can print you off one if the above is no good.
