Converting DVDs- best settings for Android?

Hi. Thinking of converting a few dvds to watch on my device (used to do this on WM and trying to convert to the proper file type, getting the right apps can be a headache). So basically: What file type should i convert to (mp4, avi etc). What android video app should i use. What file size am i looking at per film. Thanks.

Very general question. Handbrake is probably what you're looking for though. I'd go with .mp4 container. iphone settings (different resolution though). File size depends on quality.
