Account Refund

    I moved to another provider in February and got my final bill from eircom on 3/3/2011 which showed that I was in credit by 35.28 euro. When will i receive this from eircom. Thanks in advance.

    Hi lockers55,

    Refunds are issued by cheque within six weeks of an eircom account being cancelled. The account was ceased on the 28/02/11. The refund cheque has not been issued yet, but I will check with our Credit management department to get a definitive time-frame for you.

    I called eircoms credit management section and they confirmed the cheque will be issued in the next few weeks and you should receive it at the end of April at the latest.

    Hi Mark I was on to you about a refund a couple of weeks ago and said i'd keep you posted. I cant find the post now some must have been deleted anyhow no sign of the cheque yet :(

    I am very sorry about the delay however I can confirm 100% that the cheque was issued (posted) yesterday the 18/04/11.

    I checked your account and the request was sent to credit management to refund the balance of €61.31 on the 02/04/11. A refund cheque is usually issued 5-6 weeks after the request has been sent, so I will monitor the account over the next week and keep you updated.
