ok i got new concrete put down out the back over a year and as soon as it was laid it absolutely pi$$ed rain and now it is just crumbling to dust. i was thinking of putting patio slab straight on it as i have 30mm to play with but the shallowest slabs i can find is 35mm and by the time you stick some mortor under them it would be too high.

i want to sort it befroe the summer. what can i do? plane the concrete down to fit slabs? break it out all together (there is 5 or 6 inches in depth)? or can i get a screed to pour over it?

    thanks for any help

Can you try planeing a corner out of the way to see what happens

i reckon id have to plane and inch or more off it all over, id have to rent one and dont want to if it wont work. the yard is 3m x 9m so there will be a good bit to be done.
