okay so i was thinking that i might buy a new aeg soon. but im unsure what to buy , im looking for a long barrel gun with nice range and accuarcy on single shot. im more of a single shot player so ROF dosnt bother me saying that i do want a good triger response.

    theres some guns i was thinking about like G3 , H&K G36 (http://www.seairsoft.net/product_details.php?id=377&sub=4&subcat=Assault)

but im strugling to think of other options :o

any one help me? give me opinions on guns above?

note: i hate m4 and i refuse to buy one :D

    thanks , cathal

SRC have some nice AEGs and they're great quality.

your options are varied... in airsoft terms, 500ish mm make an excelent length for accuracy and range. With the addition of a tightbore barrel, and a new hop rubber (it helps a lot) you can make nearly any gun suitable for your purpose.

    Options:

Ak74 (480mm barrel) comparatively short, but excelent hop design in the AK series.
G3 (500ish mm barrel I think) long and creaky, or long and heavy should you get a CA.
Tar-21 (the long barrel) is 509mm barrel, and a lovely air seal and decent hop unit, with tb and hop, its stupidly accurate. (have one)
G36 full length, is again similar length, though its even a better hop than most.

Id put my money on the g36, the tar, or the ak frankly.

If it's range and accuracy you want, buy a good aftermarket barrel and hop, my favourite combo is a Systema 6.04 and a Guarder clear, or a Madbull Black Python and Guarder clear.

i was thinking the long barrel g36 too , its easy to upgrade and rather relieable from wat ive seen

the tars a bit out of my budget but i have used one and yes there amazing ;)
im not a fan of ak's either

    thanks firekitten :)

What about a bullpup. I love my raider but having used Lefty's f2000 last Sunday, I am beginning to consider buying one.
Lefty did a review of his here somewhere and for accuracy and range it was out reaching every other gun on the field.
    Just my 2c worth
