If you hold an MMII Grad qualification from the Marketing Institute of Ireland, and would like to quickly ramp up to an internationally recognised HETAC level 9 post graduate qualification, the DCU Grad Cert in Digital Marketing may be just what you are looking for.

Hi I've seen a few posts about the Digital Marketing postgrad Cert in DCU and postgrad Dip in the Digital Marketing Institute. I'm definitely going to do one but can't decide between the two. Has anyone out there studied either? I have a BBS and have been working in Marketing for almost three years and am torn between what I assume is the industry expertise of DMI and the academic expertise and recognised accreditation of DCU. Any advice?

The DCU course also makes ample use of Industry Practitioners to give a very good feel for what is happening in the workplace. Engagement with the digital industry is very high in DCU, so you get the best of both worlds.

Thanks for the reply Donal. I was speaking to one of your colleauges yesterday but the scheduling of the course during the day on Friday's would not be practical for me. Does sound like a great course though.

Hi there, Irina here from Digital Marketing Institute. Just wanted to drop a line to backup your decision to do the DMI postgrad :)

I joined DMI team in an admin role in 2009, and have recently completed our Digital Marketing Postgrad. Now I am looking after DMI's digital marketing strategy and campaigns, a new role I took on thanks to all the knowledge and experience gained during this course.

The main benefit of DMI Postgrad is that it's delivered by leading experts in digital marketing, hence the content they provide is extremely relevant and up-to-minute. These are the people who live and breathe digital marketing, and besides getting top advice and insiders' tips, you also get the access to an amazing network of skilled digital marketers.

Gove us a call if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
    Irina

Hi Folks - the schedule for the certificate in digital marketing at DCU is that lectures take place on Friday evenings (5 to 9) and Saturday mornings (9 to 1 I think).
