Prepare for it like you would with any interview. There are guidelines in the ceng regs.

When did you get word about the interview and how much notice did they give you? I got confirmation that my report was ok back at the end of Feb-ish but have heard nothing since.

Bit worried as I'm going to be out of the country a fair bit over the next 2 months in terms of gettin an interview date that suits.

The interview went well, bit nerve racking prior to it but all went well. The following questions were asked aside from my own case study relevent questions:

    1. "What do you think of the IEI form of Contract?
    2. Where do you see work for Engineers going forward in Ireland?
    3. New Public works form of contract.
    4. Mentoring of junior staff and colleagues.
    5. Environmental concerns when working on site and designing structures.
6.Code of ethics, have you seen anything untoward in the past, what did you do about it?`
    7. Lot of questions with regards to competences 1 & 2, competence 1 relates to application of modern technology and methods mainly, competence 2 relates to feasibility and viability studies on projects.

The interview lasted 1 hr. To answer your question AQUASCROTUM, I received 3 weeks notice, they are flexible with dates, they offered me three dates over a 2 week period to select from.

Thanks for the info David4791. Can I ask what area of engineering do you work in?

    Good luck with the result.
