De La Salle College Waterford have just won the FAIS Umbro/Tony O'Neill Senior Schools Cup for 2011, just 3 years after retaining the Dr. Croke Cup (All-Ireland Senior Schools Hurling Championship 2007 & 2008).
Has any other school in the country managed to become top dog in both Hurling & Soccer simultaneously or within such a short gap?
The Dr. Croke champions are listed on; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Croke_Cup
Can't find a similar listing for soccer.
