Galway City Volunteer Fair

    There is a chance for people in or around Galway city to check out various voluntary possibilities at the weekend (26/27 March). It should be a handy way of weighing up options by speaking to organisations in various areas of volunteering. It is being held as part of the European Year of Volunteering.
    Anyone who is interested in volunteering in Galway is invited to a Volunteer Fair that is taking place in Eyre Square Shopping Centre on the 26th and 27th March. The Fair will be held along the old city wall from 12 noon until 6.00pm on both days, and members of the public are invited to talk to organisations involved in the community, sports and arts to find out what help they need, and how to get involved. No immediate commitment needs to be made on the day.

    Special Olympics Ireland are looking for volunteers in Galway city to help them with their Collection Day on April 15th. If you have a couple of hours to spare on 15th April, please sign-up here
