I was looking to travel to Liverpool on one of the boats, I can't seem to book without putting car details etc... I don't have a car, can you not book a trip over as footpassenger?

what other options do I have

    Thanks

The Ferry from Dublin to Liverpool dont take foot passenger.

The other option you could do is to buy a sailrail pass which can be bought at the port or connlly station for €35 one way. Take a ferry to Holyhead and take the train to liverpool. You can use Irish Ferries or Stena line. for train use www.nationalrail.co.uk for journey planner.
