Anyone want experience organising an event for charity

    Hello everyone,

I only came across this thread recently and noticed that there are a number of Event management students and graduates looking for experience.

I volunteer for a local charity in Clare, mostly organising the services we provide (support groups, public information meetings, etc). We usually have a couple of bag packing fundraisers during the year and participate in the Clare 10k to raise money.

This year we have lost out on the bag packing events and need to replace it with something but I haven't got time to work on it and I'm wondering if anyone out there has time on their hands and would like to do something productive. Plus it would be good if you lived in the Galway, Clare & Limerick area.

The budget would be small so any person interested would have to be creative and we don't have a huge amount of manpower at our disposal but it the event was creative enough it might attract bodies.

I know it's a long shot but no harm in asking.
