Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Myself and five friends are traveling to New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup. We plan to hire a 6 berth camper van and was just wondering if anybody had any advice on this.

What company to hire from, what company to avoid, what type of Van to hire, any hidden costs to budget for, any good tips etc?

    Thanks

    hey!

myself and a few friends are doing the same thing and just finalised our booking with freedom campers...we got a great 2 berth with a bathroom and shower for a great price...worked out at roughly the same for over 2 weeks per person as some hotels are quoting per night on match days! they have special rugby rates and we found that by opting for a slightly older model (2 yrs older than the higher priced one) we were able to get a way better one for loads less money!

    the website is www.freedomcampers.co.nz

    see ya there!
    :D

I'd get in quick if I were you, they're all going fast. Some of the companies to try would be Freedom, Maui, Britz, Jucy, Ace and Wicked.

Seen this site called transfercar.co.nz, free campervan, insurance and in some cases petrol if u transfer a car or campervan from one place to another, pretty nifty if it suits your plans! but the best for price in campervans in my search has been freedom! Safe journey!! :)
