Print problem

Hi Guys, I have a Kodak esp3250. It was reading as low on black ink so i replaced the black ink cartridge, and left the color one alone. Now it reads as full on black ink, low on color : but will only print color. It wont print black only? Any ideas? Thanks!

Make sure the black cartridge is properly seated, clean the print heads too.

Is it an original or a refill u used
