Liebherr Fridge - Model 7082 532-00 - Not holding temperature

    Hi there.

In the apartment I am renting we have a liebherr 7082 532-00. Unfortunately over the last few days it has been giving us a lot of problems. Basically the fridge part seems to have lost its mind. When I set it at 4 degrees (which I believe is the recommended level) it flashes on the display for a moment and then goes back to its initial setting. The issue here being that the current display is reading as 11 degrees! So I do not seem to be able to turn the bloody thing down! I've just had to chuck a whole load of food because of this issue.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Or can anyone direct me as to how to turn down the temp in such a model? Using the arrow is not doing anything at all.

As a side note, I've tried turning on the Ventilation button and the Super Cool button and this seems to lower the temp. But then a few hours later we are right back where we were.

This all seems to have begun fairly soon after my girlfriend and I defrosted our freezer if that helps narrow down the problem.

    Thanks a million.

I have a Liebherr fridge - not the same one. When you changethe temp setting it then goes back to the actual temperature. The setting could still have changed.

If you have changed the setting & it does not aclimatise then get on to the landlord.

Thanks for the reply dixiefly. That makes sense that the second figure would be the current temp I suppose. But it is no aclimatising. At least though the temp is now lower than it was. It is hovering about between 3 degrees and 10. Going back and forth as the day goes on.

I reported it to my letting agency and I'm waiting on news.
