Suggestions for an MPV or SUV (€7k budget)?

    Hi all,

    looking for suggestions to upgrade from a very basic 02 focus to either a nice MPV or an SUV. Need extra room & looking for something with a little more comfort.

    A local garage has a Kia SUV for about €10k which with trade in would be do-able, but would prefer if we can keep the focus as a runaround. Also have a C-Max for the same price which while a newer & nice car is very along the same lines as the current motor.

    Also like the idea of a chrysler voyager as the spec is quite high on them.

    Out of that bunch I would go with the C-Max.

    The Chrysler has a very poor Euro NCAP rating which would concern me if you are ferrying around passengers. Unless you actually need 4 wheel drive then I would forget about an SUV.

    Others to look at are the Opel Zafira, Citroen Picasso and Toyota Corolla Verso. Nissan Qashqui is probably outside your price range.
