The New Turbomatic Saddle

Does anyone have the new Selle Italia Turbomatic saddle?
I have the old Turbomatic 4, a super-comfortable saddle I can't use because it's rails are too short.

Question: are the rails of the latest model significantly longer, allowing the saddle to be slid rearwards a couple more centimetres?

    Too short for what?

The only problem I have with the turbomatic 4, is that I can't get it far enough behind the bottom bracket (long feumrs)

The rails of the latest version of the Turbomatic, look like they would allow the saddle to be mounted further back.

I have a similar problem with the Fizik Aliante, have you looked at a seatpost with more setback?

I know a FSA K-Force 32mm setback post would be the job, but I really don't like the idea of a carbon post. Two of my friends have broken carbon seatpins recently..

If your budget stretches go for a thompson elite layback seatpost.
They are purrrty and very strong too.
+1 to your list who have broken carbon seatposts.

A thompson layback seatpost only has 16mm of setback. Most conventional road seatposts have a 20 to 25mm of setback.

Back to my origional question, does anybody have the new turbomatic?
