    Hi All,
I'm looking for a good set of number plate LED bulbs. I'm not looking for the cheap ones that blow after a few weeks/months, but that's all I've seen out there. Does anyone know of any reliable ones? I had a set of good bright ones, but one of them has stopped working after 2 months

Any ideas? Do long lasting ones exist?

    Cheers,

    DC

I bought a set of these almost a year ago and they are still going strong. Nice and bright too.

I bought various types of these on my previous cars, they all ended up blowing so I just gave up and stuck with the standard bulbs. My current car has led type numberplate bulbs from the factory and have had no problems with them.

make sure that they they are the right type bulb anyway for your car, be it 501 etc

I figured the factory fit ones would be fine. Why is it so hard to get the same quality in aftermarket LEDs I wonder. They're 'supposed' to last longer than normal bulbs. Very strange. Wouldn't mind spending a bit extra to get decent ones but they don't seem to exist!

    Cheers,

Most aftermarket ones are made in the Far East to a certain budget I'd guess.

It's ok to say it: China (et al). Junk.

'Far East' stuff from Japan is, as we know, usually, Good Stuff.
