I live in Carlow and am thinking bout switching from Vodafone to 3.
Is anyone on 3, and what's it like around Carlow? Coverage, internet speeds etc?
    Thanks

If its of any help to you, coverage is quite good, but falls back in early evening and then much better after 10pm. Mainly due to high useage.

Three's current billpay deal of €40 a month is brilliant. Includes 350 minutes, unlimited landline (or other freebie option) and unlimited internet.

Use the phone as a tether to your laptop/pc and you have decent mobile internet and probably as many minutes as you need for €40.

Best phone (imo) = HTC Desire HD, mainly because of 4" screen.

3 has been fine for me since I switched over. I've never had a problem with the signal. If you travel abroad a lot though you may want to check where they have agreements with other providers (got caught with this in France)

stay away from three in carlow if you are in any way rural. Whether or not the reception is good now, when it does go down, you'll get no support whatsoever. Avoid for your own good. 2.5 years personal experience.
