    Hi guys,

I am looking for advice for booking a holiday in northern France for about 7-10 days where we can stay in B&B accomodation and move from town to town easy enough. I cant seem to get much online for helping me out with this so your help is greatly appreciated.
there are only the two of us so something along those lines would be great!

The French do not have a B&B provision like Ireland's. Chambres d'Hotes, as they call them, are few and far between, and are usually in rural locations. There is no shortage of inexpensive hotels, many of them family-run. I generally use them when wandering about in France. They are pretty well the local equivalent of a B&B.

I presume that you will be using a car. Otherwise, you might be attempting something that is hard to manage.

Northern France is a big place. Can you narrow things down a bit?

    Hey,

If your getting the ferry to cherbourg make sure you visit http://www.citedelamer.com/uk/ its near the harbour, we dismissed and decided to have a look on the way back while waiting to go home but didnt have enough time tour = 3hrs approx

In Normandy You can see the graves of Alllies and Ze Germans aswell as the landing beaches on D-Day, Man Made Harbour WWII we went to the one in Arromanches, on the 8th of June, but if we were there 2 days earlier we would have seen something big, 6th is D-Day Anniversary.

If you can make it you should go see the Palace of Versailles its size its awe-inspiring.

Sorry if wasn't a post about b&bs but there are some cheap motel types for roughly €30 with free wifi etc, Also I would highly recommend Parc de Asterix Tonne De Zeus was amazing and im not a roller coaster junky, avoid Disney land unless you have children or feel compelled although saying that the Disney studios was pretty awsome, Aerosmith rollercoaster was imba

    Good luck in your travels!
