We can be pretty much certain of all the group winners. Only France are really certain of a second place spot. Scotland and Argentina are almost too close to call, but given recent matches between the two, I'd go for Scotland. Italy have proved they can pull out a big performance and close out a game, they ran Ireland close and could well do so again, this will come down to the last game. I have a sneaking suspicion that Fiji will do another number on Wales. That said, all 3 of Argentina, Italy and Wales are very capable of making the QF.

All of that is, however, rendered redundant in the last 8 as the 3 SH group winners will cruise through, and I see England slipping up if France can keep it together.

Despite their obvious ability, I can't help but see NZ capitulate at some point. Unless it's to France in the pool, they'll crash out in the semis, I reckon. Aussie will crush whoever actually wins between England and France.

Australia will also be far to good for SA and win the tournament, with my 11/1 bet placed last summer paying out handsomely. NZ to beat France to 3rd place.
