My girlfriend mentioned a compilation album she used to have called Precious. Apparently it featured the likes of Suede and possibly Pulp.
Been scouring google & ebay trying to track down a copy for her as a present.
Anyone ever heard of it? Would be eternally grateful to anybody who could point me in the direction of a tracklist for me to download from itunes.
    Thanks in advance

Loved that compilation. It was on the jukebox downstairs in the International Bar; I still remember the Suede song was number 0505 :)

Yep, best compilation album I ever bought (and it was in the bargain bin in Golden Discs in Stillorgan). I still have the inlay for the cassette but I threw out the rest. Magic.

Oh man this brings back memories. It was the first indie album I bought, and I listened to it continually (on cassette). Always thought side A was better than side B. And The Shamen track felt out of place, too "dance" as opposed to "pop indie". I've found a picture of the album cover here (http://bit.ly/noJo8e). And I remember inside it said "Remember that a puppy if for life, not just for Christmas" or something to that effect.

That is a sweet-looking compilation. I already have about half the songs on it but there's a few artists there that I've been meaning to check out e.g. Daisy Chainsaw, The Sugarcubes and Inspiral Carpets.

This was the big Sugarcubes track I remember. Note the very 90's 'rap' section in the middle.
