Hi im looking to put subtitles and audio over some clips but im not sure what I should invest my money in? I done some googling but im just getting confused/spammed. Anybody able to help me out? Thanks.

You can do this in Windows movie maker if you're on Windows XP. Not sure if Win Vista and Win 7 have movie maker

adobe premiere elements for €50 in pc world and the like.

I'd recommend Sony Movie Studio HD 10 Platinum Suite (PC).
It's about €37 with free delivery on Amazon.

Editing is pretty easy and Full HD support is included.
It's not a beginner editing suite but well worth the money.
Far superior to Adobe Premiere Elements, imo.
