Just movedinto a house that has been newly decorated. Put the heating on today and the fumes from the radiators was really afl, acrid smell and catching at the back of my throat, irritating my eyes and giving me a headache!

So was wonderig if this is normal and will wear off soon or if there is a special type of paint you should use for rads that maybe wasn't used here?

    Any advice appreciated! :)

It will wear off very soon regardless of the paint. Its prob a high quality gloss which is why its happening. Just leave your windows open and dont sleep naked incase an ambulence is called.;) Obv only joking.

Five days later and I'm still choking!

We've had gorgeous weather so had all doors and windows open for at least 4 days, with heating on for a couple of hours each day.

Is there anything else I can do?? Mr. sudzs is getting fed up with the PJs!! ;)

Try cutting up an onion and leaving it in the room.
