On my way home from work this evening bout 6.30 I was driving along doing my usual looking over the hedges to see whats going on when suddenly within 15 yds of the road I see 4 bucks head down grazing away

I'm gone by them before I realise what I've seen, do a u-turn and drive slow pass and they're still grazing away, 3 nice big heads and one with only one antler, all in prime condition !!

Anyway do another u-turn, 3rd time pasing and they lift there heads and look at me as I cruise by, raging didint have camera with me :(

I have some ground down the road and ring the farmer to ask does who know who's land it is, 2 mins later I'm shaking the landowners hands with a new bit of ground to stalk next season :) borders onto a nice block of forestry and raised bogland.

i saw the exact same thing yesterday when i was heading in for the bus at about half 6.
passed abit fast but there was 4 of them and none had antlers, grazing happily about 20 yards from the road.
we headed out with a fella who's permissions on that land a few times and never had any luck there. of course when the season closes they come out, its as if they know they're safe

Thinking about this one T, came to the conclusion that you have too much land to manage the cull across. Slieve Blooms, Wicklow let, various permisions in Westmeath, Galway etc, etc, now even France.....
So as a friend I am going to help, you tell me where and I will help with the Cull.. :D:D:D
